Meet a Mighty Man

Every man, woman, and child in this world puts their faith, hope, and trust in someone or in something, such as a job, money, some status, a spouse, a habit, education, or in what a person thinks or does. Too many are decieved by a lie that states that if you are a "good" person you will go to Heaven. Certainly to do right is good, however being good DOES NOT equate with being saved. Romans 3:23-24 states, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus". Acts 4:12 states, "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

The Bible also states in Romans 10:9 "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." To be saved means you beceome a new creation in Christ Jesus. You see, God originally had direct relations with Adam and Eve. But sin separated them from God through disobedience which brought a curse upon all humans. God wanted to restore the direct relationship like He had with Adam and Eve. He did this through His Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Jesus paid the entire sin debt of the world for all time which we could never repay. Ephesians 2:8 states, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God"! We are saved by grace and not by works or by anythig we could have ever done! We are saved as a gift!

If you are ready to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and live your life for Him (and you will be greatly blessed by doing it!) all you have to do is say the following prayer out loud with a true heart:

Heavenly Father,

I recognize Lord that I am a sinner and need to be saved. My sin has made me fall short of the glory of God. I recognize that You came to the earth and suffered and shed blood for my sake to redeem me of my sin. You died upon a Roman cross and was buried and God raised you from the dead on the third day. Lord Jesus, I ask you now to come into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior. I pray now Lord, forgive me of my sin and wash me clean, white as snow. Thank you Jesus for saving me and making me into a new creation in You. I now rejoice in my salvation and new citizenship in Heaven, for my destination has changed from Hell to Heaven.

I pray now in Jesus' name, amen.

We rejoice in your new salvation and know you are on the right path! Here are a few things you need to know.

First, this gift comes with a responsiblity, a commandment. This commandment as stated in Mark 12:30-31 is "And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'" This means to treat God and All people with love.

Second, the Bible is the foremost book to learn about the character of God and His works. If you do not have a bible, there are many stores where you can purchase a Bible. Also, many faith based organizations provide Bibles at no cost to you. The internet is a great, free resource for Bible and Bible related information.

Third, Hebrews 10:24-25 states, "And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together." Our focus is to be on a relationship with God. Other saved, Word believing people are there to help you with your growth in God by explaining God's Word, praying with you, and being a support for you.

If there is anything we can do to help you, don't hesitate to contact us! Again we rejoice with you in your salvation!
