Felt Hat Renovation Process

A hat we renovate is completely cleaned (to the best possible condition. Note: Some stains may not clean completely out. It is then blocked and pressed. The renovated hat includes a new sweatband, liner, and hat ribbon. Dark hats are lured and light hats are powdered.

The hat is finished into an open crown and a flat brim. We can leave it this way for you to shape yourself, or we can shape it to your specification.This renovation process usually takes about 2-4 weeks.

Renovation Policy

The object of renovating a hat is not to restore it to it's original "out of the box" condition but to a condition of wearability. While we take great pride and care during the renovation process, all hats are renovated at the owners risk.

• Hat Renovation $75.00 (as of January 2006)
  *All renovations require a $30.00 deposit

Shipping

Hats sent to us should be in a hat box (cardboard or hardcase) and will be mailed back in same box or if an appropriate box was not used, we will use our own cardboard hat box at greater expense. A regular cardboard box is usually not suitable for a finished hat!
